Today we had your 15 month appointment. According to your doctor (and your mama) you are advanced verbally! She said that by 15 months you should be saying 3-5 words. You have at least 12 clear words and many more words Daddy and I understand but others may not. Way to go! She was also impressed because you are one very social baby girl. You greeted her with "hello" then stood next to her instead of running over to me. You also talked to her while she was listening to your breathing. You made the appointment nice and easy for her. :)
You are in the 98th percentile for height (33 inches). You grew 2 inches in the last 3 months. You are in the 69th percentile for weight (24 lbs 4.5 oz). You only gained 1 lb (almost) in the last 3 months. Your doctor isn't concerned and said that most toddlers slow down in their weight gain due to your mobility. She was very pleased to see you and gave you another book! She said we don't need to see her again until you're 22 - 24 months unless we have any concerns beforehand.
You received your last booster of the Dtap, Hib, and PCV vaccines. Next month we'll go in for our flu shots. Sorry baby, only a few more shots and you'll be ready to go!
