Valentines Day

Dear Quillinan Trio,

Last weekend was Valentines day.  We decided to make heart shaped pizzas for dinner.  While one of them turned out pretty cute, the other pizzas were sort of heart shapes.  Regardless of the actual shape they were pretty tasty!  Since we are skipping over another winter we dined in the backyard.  Maybe heart(ish) shaped pizzas will be our new Valentine tradition?

The trip that's not

Quillinan Trio,

We were supposed to go to Yosemite this week but due to illness we had to cancel.  Bummer!  Colin, Michela, and I were stuck home with fevers and congestion.  Penelope and Daddy escaped to Happy Hollow and lunch on Monday for a daddy daughter date.  I love that when you came home, Penelope, you said, "next week, when you're feeling better, you can come too!"  You had so much fun and wanted to share your excitement with the rest of us.

On Tuesday, Michela was feeling better so Daddy took you girls to your very first movie in the theater.  You saw Paddington and came home full of excitement and silly stories from the movie.  After the movie you went out to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen.

So, even though we planned Yosemite, we you still managed to have fun. Today, Colin and I are feeling better so maybe we can join in on the fun too.
