How far along?: 16 weeks
Total weight gain?: I'm not really sure... I'll find out on Wednesday at my next appointment.
Maternity clothes?: Yes. They are super comfortable. My belly isn't huge so I still have to wear my Belly Band to help keep them up. But They are definitely more comfortable then my pre-pregnancy pants. I'm waiting for some more maternity clothes to arrive this week. :)
Stretch marks?: No. But I have started feeling some itches in different places on my belly. I haven't scratched them because rumor has it that if you scratch you will definitely get stretch marks in that place. So I've been rubbing the itch away when it comes.
Sleep?: Yes and no. I still like my sleep but I'm now waking up several times a night to get comfortable. If I lay on my side too long, my hips and shoulders start to hurt. I can't really sleep on my back without the risk of having the weight of the baby pushing on an artery... so I have to put a pillow under my back so I can sleep at an angle. That's great for a little while but then I'll need to turn because my back starts hurting. Grrr... I guess that means that sleeping through the night is out the window until the baby sleeps through the night outside the womb.
Best moment this week?: I had a rave review from one of the assistant principals at my school. :) She did a formal observation during one of my class periods and said that I am a "natural born teacher". YAY!
Movement?: I may have started feeling movement but I'm not totally convinced yet. I have felt some vibrations in there a few times but I'm still not sure if it's the baby or something not so cute.
Food cravings?: Lately I have had cravings for gold fish crackers. I think it's weird because I have always been a cheese-it girl... but now... goldfish crackers sound divine. :)
Labor signs?: Nope... too early for that to be a good sign.
Belly button in or out?: Still an in-ne.
What I miss?: I really don't miss anything. I completely cut out soda, coffee and wine / beer but to my surprise... I don't want them. All I want to drink is water these days.
What I'm looking forward to?: Christmas! Seamus and I get to celebrate Christmas twice this year! Next weekend we'll celebrate with my family in Ventura; the following weekend we'll celebrate with his family. :) I am also looking forward to celebrating my 1 year anniversary of being married to the love of my life. This year has passed quickly! I can't believe last year I was planning my wedding and this year we're planning for the arrival of our baby. My life is great! :)
