1/2 Year Old

Dear Colin,

You're a half year old!  You are the perfect little package.  I love picking you up in the morning and you snuggle in as if you're giving me a hug.  I love you little man!  You are so affectionate.  You smile at everyone and love it when your sisters play with you.  You played "catch" with Michela the other day.  It was more of Michela throwing a ball at you but you loved the attention and the ball was soft so you didn't get hurt.

I can't believe you are already 6 months old.  I can't wait to see what the next 6 months hold for us.

We celebrated your half birthday by going to the San Francisco Zoo!  It was packed!

Penelope Potty Party

Big girl! Your face met the pavement last weekend but I love this picture - boo boos and all.

Dear Penelope,

That was one short potty party!  I am blown away by how fast you took to potty training.  In fact, I'll go as far as saying the only thing I did was remove the diaper when you told me.  You were ready.  I wasn't planning on removing the diaper at bed time but you started waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.  It became more of a hassle to take the diaper off and put it back on at 2am.  So after the 2nd night of you waking up dry we lost the diaper.  You haven't had an accident since Christmas morning.  And that was my fault since you were too excited for presents I didn't remind you to use the pot before opening gifts.
