Tahoe

Quillinan Trio,

We went to South Lake Tahoe this week and had a blast.  Michela and Penelope shared a bed and actually slept!  Wahoo!  Colin, you slept in the go crib and actually slept!  Yay!  Our hotel came with free beach access on the Nevada side.  So we spent a day on the lake beach.  We ate lunch and Daddy surprised you with ice cream on the beach.  :)

The water was of course cold but that didn't stop you girls from swimming.  Colin, you put your feet in but you wern't too happy with sitting in the cold water.  So we hung out in the shade of the beach tent.  You loved the sand and threw it every chance you got.  The girls and I did a little digging but the water was more fun.  

We also took a drive to Fallen Leaf Lake to see where Daddy made lots of childhood memories.  You guys weren't too happy with the trip because we couldn't get out to explore.  Fallen Leaf lake was beautiful though. 

I am looking forward to taking you guys back to Tahoe.  Maybe next year?!

We had a windy day in Tahoe so we spent the afternoon in the indoor pool.  You became more comfortable in the water when 2 girls came to join us and showed you how they swim.
