4 Years Old

Dear Michela,

Yesterday you turned 4 years old.  We celebrated by having a picnic at the park and eating a crepe at the Farmers Market.  I love watching you interact with other kids at the park.  You are so open and friendly.  If they're interested in doing the same thing you immediately include them in your fun.  "Come on, girl!"  "Come over here boy!"  You don't need names.  ;)

Here are a few pictures from your birthday party on Saturday.  We celebrated at De Anza Park with family and preschool friends.

In case you were wondering.  That's Nutella frosting and it is my new favorite.

I can safely say that you loved your party.  I was interested to see how playing panned out between family and friends.  Turns out family trumps best friends.  :)  Caitlin is your true BFF.  Preschool friends are great but if Caitlin is around, she's the one.
